Recently developed ‘in-house’, the Tool enables the user to select a particular chart pattern that they wish to scan for and then run a real-time search across all market instruments (FX, Indices, Equities, Commodities, Treasuries). Within seconds a list of emerging and completed patterns are returned having searched the entire 7500+ instruments available on the platform.

The results are listed side by side and are each star rated in accordance with the technical strength of the predicted breakout. These patterns can also be back-tested by simply hovering the mouse over the patterns highlighted on the chart. A price projection is provided as a guide, which is calculated using a combination of technical analysis indicators and past performance data.

For technical traders the Pattern Recognition Tool is a leap forward in helping to identify trading opportunities. Fundamental traders may also use this feature in order to confirm a decision to enter or exit a position.
